Descending Into Greatness Week 5

Are we building our lives on the right foundation? This message challenges us to examine what we're constructing our lives upon. Drawing from 1 Peter 2:4-10, we're reminded that Jesus is the cornerstone - rejected by men but chosen by God. Just as ancient builders used cornerstones to align and strengthen their structures, we're called to align our lives with Christ. The parallels between building construction and spiritual growth are striking. How often do we try to 'duct tape' our problems instead of truly repenting and rebuilding on God's foundation? This message urges us to stop following our own flawed blueprints and surrender to God's perfect plan. It's a call to pursue God's presence in every aspect of our lives - work, family, recreation - and to live as a royal priesthood, proclaiming His excellencies. As we reflect on this, let's ask ourselves: Are we 100% confident in our salvation? Are we truly building our lives on, around, and for Christ?
