Heaven Meets Earth Week 35

What does it look like when heaven breaks into ordinary life and demands a response? Acts chapter 9 gives us one of the most dramatic answers in all of Scripture. We follow the story of Saul, a man so convinced he was doing right that he was actively destroying the very thing God was building. Then, without warning, a light brighter than the sun stops him cold on the road to Damascus. This is not a gentle nudge. This is a consuming, comprehensive, convicting encounter with Jesus himself. The passage forces us to ask a deeply personal question: if someone followed us through our daily routines, through our workplaces, our conversations, and our choices, would they find evidence that we belong to the Way? The story does not let us stay comfortable as observers. It pulls us in and asks us to locate ourselves within it. Have we truly encountered the light, or are we still navigating life on our own terms, choosing religion over a living relationship with Jesus? The message here is urgent and clear. The gospel is only good news if it reaches people in time, and the light of heaven is still shining, still drawing, still calling people by name.
